The purpose of this site is two-fold
1. To provide a focal point for the exchange of information for residents and those interested in the village of Kirkton of Auchterhouse
2. To provide information on the history of our village, following a Local History exhibition held in April 2000.

New Community Council meetings are held on the third Thursday of each even numbered month at 7 pm in the Parish Hall. Meetings are not held in the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November unless there is extraordinary business. All members of the community are welcome to attend meetings. Public discussion and open debate is encouraged. Minutes of meetings will be available here

Angus Council Savings
The Council is preparing for £12million - £15million saving in 2017-18.

The Hall 200 Club
The hall 200 club, which helps to fund our hall expenditure, will start again this month with the first draw on Wed 31st Aug. A membership number cost £5 and allows the owner to enter the draws which take place in Aug; Sep; Oct; Nov and Dec. Most of the prizes are £10 but in Dec £60, £40 and £20 prizes are awarded.
Half of the total sum raised is kept for hall funds and the remainder returned in prizes.
