1. To provide a focal point for the exchange of information for residents and those interested in the village of Kirkton of Auchterhouse

2. To provide information on the history of our village, following a Local History exhibition held in April 2000.

NEW. ..Auchterhouse Twinning Association
Our purpose is to communicate with the community of Guiche about twinning our villages. Membership is open to all residents of Auchterhouse.

Police Matters

Several times recently, motor bikes have been seen on the hill, where they are not allowed. If you meet them please take details including registration numbers and report them to the police.
There have been break-ins to property in the neighbouring rural areas. Keep your property secure at all times. Leave a light or a radio on when not at home. Report anything suspicious to Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

Auchterhouse Primary & Nursery Open Day
Saturday 23 November
10am - 12pm

We are holding an Open Day on Saturday 23 November for parents, community members, previous families of the school and anyone else to come and see the refurbishments that have taken place and the absolutely fantastic nursery that we now have!

Auchterhouse Guild Annual Coffee Morning

The annual coffee morning will be held in he hallon Saturday 2 June from 10 am to 12 noon
You will get sandwiches and cakes (as much as you can eat) and coffee, tea or juice.
There will be cake and goodies for sale and books and toys on the bric-a-brac stall and lots plants. A super raffle with 2 food hampers and lots of prizes.
Entry £3 for adults and 1£ for childrenAll profits to very worthwhile Guild projects in Scotland and overseas.


Angus Licensing Board Statement of Licensing Policies

Angus Licensing Board is now seeking the views of members of the public to help with the review. Click here for information

Hall 200 Club

.Another session of the hall 200 club is about to start - the 1st draw will be on the 30th August, with a draw each month up to December, when there will be some big prizes. A membership number costs £5 and by the end of the session (in December) half the money donated will be returned in prizes. Collectors will be coming around to collect from the regular donors in the next week but there are spare numbers for new members. If you would like a number, or more numbers, let Mary Skea know on Tel 320257. It's all for a good cause - the running of the hall.
