Auchterhouse Community

How To Get Involved

Community Council meetings are scheduled to be held at 7pm in the Village Hall on the third Thursday in February, April, June, August, October and December. All meetings, unless for a very specific reason, are open to members of the public. Should urgent matters or extraordinary business or public concern arise additional meetings would be arranged. Anyone in our local community is welcome to come along to the meetings.

Community Councils are the strongest means of becoming involved with your local area. It will give you a good understanding of the workings of local government and what is going on locally and nationally. All local authorities in Scotland encourage citizens to become a member of their Community Council. Why don’t you consider coming along?
